Chairperson

John Hetcko

John Hetcko is the Environmental Health and Safety Manager for the Lincoln Operations, General Dynamics, a manufacturer of composite aerospace and defense products ultimately used by the federal government. He has held that position for over 23 years. He is a Certified Safety Professional and a Certified Hazardous Materials Manager. His experiences at General Dynamics have been in all facets of safety and environmental issues that may impact the operations from worker compensation claims, testifying at OSHA and NDEQ regulatory hearings, environmental permit preparation and implementation in air, RCRA, and pretreatment and an Emergency Response committee member.

Treasurer

John Hauner

John Hauner

John Hauner is a Utilities Coordinator at Lincoln Electric System. His current responsibilities focus on legal environmental and regulatory issues affecting the electric utility industry. He earned a Bachelor of Science in teaching from the University of Nebraska at Kearney, has served as past president, vice-president, and Secretary/Treasurer of Lincoln Amateur Radio Club, and teaches CPR classes for the Red Cross. He also served five years as the Treasurer for WasteCap Nebraska.

Gene Hanlon

Gene Hanlon has a masters degree in Public Administration. He has worked as Recycling Coordinator for the City of Lincoln since 1987. He has served on the boards of the Nebraska Chapter of the Solid Waste Association of North America and the Nebraska State Recycling Association. He was a founding member of WasteCap Nebraska. Prior to joining the City of Lincoln he served as Executive Director of Neighborhood Housing Services (now know as Nieghborworks); the Omaha Area Food Bank and was a planner for the Omaha Economic Development Corporation.

Russ Baker

Russ Baker

Russ Baker is an Environmental Affairs Administrator with Omaha Public Power District (OPPD) where he has worked for twenty years. During his career, Russ has supported OPPD's power plants by performing a variety of activities, including chemistry sampling and analysis, radiation protection, hazardous materials and emergency response, and environmental protection and compliance. His current responsibilities focus on legal and regulatory issues affecting the electric utility industry, nuclear and fossil fuel energy production, environmental health and safety, environmental compliance, permitting and auditing.

Jeff Burg

Jeff Burg

Jeff Burg is the Director of Materials Management / Environmental Services at BryanLGH Medical Center and has been employed there since 2002. He has worked in the health care management field for 29 years and has been responsible for support service and clinical department functions. Jeff is a graduate of Central Michigan University with a BS in Business Administration and an MS in Health Services Administration.

Reynolds Davis

Reynolds Davis

Reynolds Davis is a marketing and management consultant who retired from SmithKline Beckman (now Glaxo-SmithKline) in 1990 after a 20 year career. He is a long-term Red Cross volunteer and is the current chair of the Cornhusker Regional Council for that organization as well as a member of the board of directors for the Lancaster Chapter of the American Red Cross. Reynolds is also president of the Lincoln Amateur Radio Club, vice-chair of Volunteer Partners in Lincoln, and is the Lancaster County Emergency Coordinator for the Amateur Radio Emergency Service.

Lisa Darlington-Johnson

Lisa Darlington Johnson

Lisa Darlington-Johnson is the Director of Research and Information for the Lincoln Partnership for Economic Development where she has worked since 2003. She is a member of the Lincoln Workforce Investment Board and the Nebraska Business Forecast Council as well as a Junior Achievement Global Marketplace Volunteer. Lisa also serves as a judge for the DECA Statewide Marketing Plan competition. She is a graduate of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a BA in Political Science and a Master's in Community and Regional Planning with an Economic Development specialization.

Adam J. Prochaska

Adam J. Prochaska

Adam J. Prochaska is an associate attorney at Harding & Shultz, P.C., L.L.O. in Lincoln, Nebraska.  He began his career as an attorney in Kansas City where he acquired a wealth of experience in the areas of appellate and trial practice, products liability, personal injury, and insurance law.  Prochaska continues to practice in these areas, among others.  Prochaska is licensed to practice law in Nebraska, Kansas and Missouri and, since returning to Nebraska, has expanded his practice to include library law and employment discrimination. Under Adam's direction, Harding & Shultz has launched a new green initiative designed to reduce the firm's carbon footprint. His enthusiasm and initiative, in addition to his breadth of experience will be a vital component of WasteCap Nebraska's future growth.

Patti Wubbels

Patty Wubbels

Patti Wubbels is a Branch Manager for Cornhusker Bank in Lincoln. She also currently serves as the Vice President of Education and Research for the Lincoln chapter of the American Society for Training and Development (ASTD-Lincoln) and is working on her Master's degree in Management with an emphasis in Leadership from Doane College, Lincoln. Patti received her Bachelor's in Business with an emphasis in Marketing from Doane-Lincoln in 1999.
